Media Center
Schedule
Third Creek Middle School's Media Center has an open, flexible schedule. Students visit the media center for book check out every two weeks with their English Language Arts teachers. Students may use the Media Center from 8:10-3:15. TCMS students must have their teacher's permission in order to visit the Media Center independent of scheduled class visits.
Check Out
Students may check out 2 books at a time for 2 weeks as long as they have no overdue, lost, or damaged books.
Resources
The Media Center is available for book selection and research. It has study areas and research tables. There are 2 collaboration rooms set up for students to connect their Macs to larger screens when they are working together in groups, a production room, and a makerspace. The media center is a place for students to read, work on projects, collaborate, learn, and more.
Media Center Mission Statement
Building a strong diverse book collection to build strong readers and tomorrow's leaders. Teaching students research skills and how to become responsible and ethical users of information, in order to excel academically in middle school, high school and college.
