Janice Myers

Hello Bulldogs, my name is Janice Myers.  I was a long term sub for the 8th grade Exceptional Children’s classes at SMS last spring.  I have since been hired to teach 7th grade Social Studies and Science.

I am a single mother of four.  I adopted a sibling group so they would not have to be separated. I have spent most of my work life in the helping industry (Social Work and Group Homes). I transitioned to education after adopting my children. My desire is to help students set goals, for the future, and to help my students learn the skills necessary to fulfill their dreams. I’m passionate that you live for today, but prepare for tomorrow.  Having a plan for your future is so very important!
