Students are responsible for keeping up with the Ipad chargers . Devices should be charged at home to avoid having to charge them in classrooms. Only rarely should students need to charge at school. We are currently doing mid-year charger checks and students will be billed for missing or damaged chargers.
Per the Acceptable Use Agreement signed by parents/guardians- “STUDENT TECHNOLOGY CHARGES - Device/Cases/Cords/Damage:
'... the students (and parents) are responsible for charges incurred due to damage, negligence, or theft with regard to lost cords, stolen or lost devices, machine/cord damages, and repair costs. ' ”
If a charger set is missing or damaged, the replacement cost must be paid in full before a set is ordered from the district technology department. All bricks must be 20W Apple chargers and the cords must be damage-free. Bricks are $19 and cords are $19. A total replacement set costs $38.
